Come and piss at my place
This work, proposed as a tv series of 4 episodes, has been originated by fixing a video camera in the bathroom of my wc when I was living in Milan.
The invited artists have been free to make any intervention, musical, visual, performative etc.
The slow structure of the videos, the silent moments and the fix images are means to investigate and underline up to which point people is willing to fix a useless image, in this case a wc, in order to catch the moment in which something weird or exciting or new is happening.
Curiosity, hypercontrol, exhibitionism, voyerism, distraction, the habit to spy and being spyed, the curiosity in dicovering the people's habits, to look 2d nude images, these are some of the concepts originating "Come and piss at my place". It has been concevied as an investigation about which contents and aesthetical possibilities such a context, a bathroom and specifically a wc can offer.
The artists on one hand have been spyed, on the other hand they had the absolute power on the "spying object", having the possibilty to do anything they would consider appropriate or challenging.
On one side it has been an imposition (the fix camera), on the other side it has been an act of pure rivalry, pure antagonism.

Two entities live together from the time when they are born. They are structurally identical in everything, except for one aspect: one is slightly more brilliant than the other one and it beats at a slightly higher speed. Their dialogue is cyclic: there are moments in which they shine with reciprocating motion and short moments in which they shine exactly together, and getting together they achieve full light. The two entities are hidden behind walls which distort their vision and their true essence and amplify fake and unreal aspects. This kind of situation keeps going from the time they are born. Suddenly one of the two entities switch off and leaves the other alone. And there is no dialogue anymore, they don't beat anymore, neither reciprocating motion nor together. A distorted light will keep beating until an undefined duration, until the noment it will also stop beating.
